This section of the PhoneBook is very straight forward and there are no special fields. Only those employers that you see repeatedly in your practice, especially if your do workman's compensation, need to have a record here.
Clicking this button allows you to update the current record in the Patients Module with the current employer record. The dialog below confirms your action.
Once you click OK the employer's code is copied, the Patient Module is brought forward and then the patient's record is updated. This feature is extremely handy when you have just entered the patient's employer and want to immediately updated the record.
